Little Hollywood

Sorry we are experiencing system issues. Please try again.
Little Hollywood borrows its name from an iconic place, and yet this neighborhood in San Francisco is considered to be the least well-known community in the city. With a total size of under just a square mile, Little Hollywood also ranks as one of the smallest neighborhoods in San Francisco. What it lacks, however, in size and popularity it makes up for its real sense of community and character. Located between Bayshore Freeway and Bayshore Boulevard, pie-shaped Little Hollywood is found in San Francisco’s southeast sector. It gained its name from the number of silent film stars that once resided in the community. Today, it’s a quiet, inviting, and friendly locale with easy access to commute corridors, most especially the 101 Freeway. More than that, Little Hollywood has become a haven for local artists, particularly those with a penchant for turning recycled materials into works of art.

Little Hollywood San Francisco real estate.

What home buyers will come to love about Little Hollywood are its real estate offerings and its small-town appeal. Home to a population of about a thousand residents, people living here know each other. Little Hollywood real estate is comprised of older residential properties, most of which were built between the 1920s and 1930s. This gives homes for sale in Little Hollywood a unique historic charm. The prevailing architectural style in the neighborhood is Craftsman bungalow– another feature that paved the way for the area to be called Little Hollywood, as these homes seemed to belong to the Los Angeles landmark. Single-family homes and condos are available in the market. As for home prices, residential properties in Little Hollywood tend to be more affordable than in other areas of San Francisco.
